At One More House Plant, we believe that one house plant is all it takes to fall in love with the joy of plants. Our journey began with the simple act of planting a seed. We aim to offer a range of tropical plants, from popular ones like monsteras and hoyas, to rare succulents that you won't find in your local store. All our plants are lovingly cared for and propagated in our greenhouse. We are committed to minimizing waste by using sustainable and recyclable materials in our packaging, such as soy-based ink stamps, eco-friendly packing paper, recyclable paper, compostable cling wrap, reusable-polyfill and water-based tape. Each plant comes with a personalized care note that covers its lighting, watering, common issues, and toxicity. We take immense pride in our work and strive to ensure that all our plant lovers are happy. Meet H’Lois
Founder & Owner of One More House Plant
H’Lois has always had a strong love for plants. It all began when she would help her dad in the vegetable garden, planting and watering. She would get really happy when she saw the fruits starting to grow. Every morning, she would eagerly search for new growth. Sometimes, she would pick a baby vegetable too early and her dad would have to tell her it wasn't ready yet. Her first house plant was a fittonia and she struggled to keep it alive. But as she learned about different tropical plants, her desire for more grew. As she got older, her dream was to have her own greenhouse. She always says that it all started with a house plant and she kept telling herself that she needed one more. She wanted to share her passion and love for plants, so she decided to start a business called One More House Plant. She believes that if you're thinking of taking care of a living plant, you might need some guidance to begin. It takes patience and a lot of learning, so don't be too hard on yourself. We, at One More House Plant, want to help you every step of the way in becoming the best plant collector you can be.
